Today was good. Got out at 15.00 hrs and made it up to the Derby Shelton Dam. I was surprised at the amount of fishing line which was caught in the brush along the river banks. What was seen was retrieved. Also pulled out quite a bit of plastic as well. By the time the sun was setting I had pretty much filled yet another 45 gal trash liner, so yet another productive mission in the defense of ATWA. I did make it around O'Sullivan's Island - but did not make any progress up the Naugatuck River due to simply running out of time. But that's ok, because there's always next time...
